Bananas, or na-na-na-naners....

OK, so Lucas is ALMOST 6 months today. He has been eagerly watching us eat for a few weeks now. He grabs at every cup I try to drink out of. I guess he is ready...
So for his first meal, we choose BANANAS! I love them, but does he???

Boing, Boing!

We went and visited my friend Jessica in Oklahoma City this week while Dave was in the Czech Republic. She let us borrow her son's jump up toy. Lucas LOVES it!

Reunion

Went to the annual family reunion at my grandparents house. It sure is lovely there. They are not allowed to sell that house! haha!

Our little family. We call them the mug shots because Grandma lines up each family on thier way out the door and takes a photo, so she knows who was there. We giggle at her, but I know we will be fighting over her photos, because she has so many of us!

Star Wars

*Rolling eyes*
If you know Dave, you know that he is a Star Wars fan. I am, well, NOT one. I prefer comedies... but I digress.

Rebekah was visiting, so we packed up the kids and went to the Star Wars exhibit in Fort Worth. Dave was so excited about it he was dancing around like a little kid. Here are some pictures. I will have to say that Lucas was less than thrilled about all this. After all, we got there right at his bedtime. I thank God for my sling! He slept through most of it snug in that wonderful contraption!

Guess now you know where the 'inspiration' for his name came from, sigh. *embarrased*

Me and my Cuz

Lucas got to play with Kayla and Harley this week. They are his cousins! Kayla was the attentive little mother, and Harley, well, he was the noisemaker of the bunch! Lucas learned A LOT from him. Thanks Rebekah! haha!
